BPM began as indie zine covering the burgeoning SoCal DJ scene, though it soon set its sights on a much larger goal: to become the lifestyle magazine for the modern metropolitan man. As Art Director, I took BPM through an adventurous design evolution, with brash designs, custom fonts, and a complex and unpredictable grid. The redesign was so successful that even Flight of the Conchords took notice, gracing one of the covers.
